Ingredients

  • 290 g Pizza dough
  • 200 g Caramelised onions Freshly made, or cheat with a jar of chutney
  • 150 g Haggis cooked and crumbled
  • 100 g Mozzarella grated
  • 1 handful Rosemary and thyme fresh, chopped
  • 150 g Burrata one whole burrata

Instructions

  • Using some pizza dough, stretch this out to around 12 inches. You can make it from scratch or use a store-bought one if you're short on time.
  • Spread a generous layer of caramelised onions over the pizza base. This will provide a sweet, rich foundation for your flavours.
  • Crumble cooked haggis evenly over the caramelised onions. This will add that distinctive, hearty spiced flavour.
  • Sprinkle grated mozzarella over the haggis. This will melt beautifully and add a creamy texture.
  • Time to Bake:
Pizza Oven: Preheat your pizza oven to approximately 400°C. Bake the pizza for about 90 seconds, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Fan Oven: If you’re using a fan oven, preheat it to 200°C. Bake the pizza for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Add a sprinkle of rosemary and thyme for an aromatic touch.
  • Place a whole burrata in the centre of the pizza. This will be the crowning glory of your Burnratta Pizza.
